Love Me Now
Love Me Now is a heartwarming song about passion and love. When it was released, Ukraine was experiencing the peak of its invasion, and the song became a symbol of love and resilience for those standing strong and for the people they love the most.
Personally, I enjoy it for its structure and melody. It’s one of my favourite tunes that captures everything I love and appreciate about music and music production.
"Love Me Now" began as a general concept for a serious and emotional Future House track, similar to many other melodies I was working on at that time. However, the overall structure and progression of this particular melody stood out to me. It made me reconsider my approach. Instead of focusing on creating a hard-edged sound design typical of Future House, I decided to emphasize a more narrative and emotional style.
It began as a fun experiment with orchestral instruments, which eventually became the song's main feature. This unique element made it stand out from my other work and brought a fresh perspective to the genre. The song didn't have a reference track; its entire structure was created through my improvisation. However, I’m sure that this improvisation was influenced by some of my favorite artists at the time, including Avicii, Lucas & Steve, and Mike Williams.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to master the song properly. From a technical standpoint, I wasn't sure if the overall mix sounded good. The main issue was the invasion of Ukraine, which forced me to leave all my equipment at home. As a result, I only had a test master on my laptop, which could handle only lightweight apps. Despite this, I'm somewhat surprised that the general sound is pleasing, although I will never know how it could have been finished properly.
Nevertheless, I am genuinely satisfied with this song, as it is one of my favorites.
